Jessie, you would probably really enjoy Zane Grey. He wrote Westerns, and they all have a great romance in them :).
funny, I just had a gentleman reading a zane grey at work the other day ago. I am definately going to look him up!
Is Lonesome Gods one of the Sackett's stories? I've really enjoyed the few Lous L'amour Sackett family stories that I've read so far. And I've also read a few Zane Greay books - on Lisa's suggestion - and enjoyed them, too.
