MAY & JUNE BOOKS

May
"Gift from the Sea," Anne Lindbergh
Discussion led by Tammy on May 29. (**Tammy, does that still work for you?)

JUNE
"The Host," by Stephenie Meyer
Discusion led by Ashley Morrissey (**Ashley, does that work for you?)

Alright everyone, we should be set until July. How do you want to handle the summer? Cat suggested we read the Twilight series and make the new book up for discussion when it comes out. Any other thoughts?

I was thinking the twilight books could be an informal read. I was going to read twilight this month, then new moon in june, and eclipse in July so that I would be ready for breaking dawn by august. That way I am not cramming the books and it is a low stress way to read it. And of course, we can have discussions on J'aime lire about anything we want to talk about. :) This way it is optional for those who are not as entralled with the series as I am. What does everyone think?

I think that is a great idea, it would make it an easy read for the summer since summers can get busy...I was planning on rereading them and have started reading twilight again, but I love these books so much I can read them unlimited times

So we would still have our books for May and June and then the series would be informal? Is that right? i think that sounds good - its just more for us all to have fun reading and talking about.
