Summer Reading

Like Jessie suggested, I think it is a great idea to share what we have read over the summer.  My summer was pretty wild - if you want to know more, you can read my blog, but to summarize, we found out in June that we were moving in July to Colorado Springs.

It has been a wild ride, but my little family is finally getting settled.  However, even amongst the chaos, I have been reading like crazy :).  In fact, one of the first things I did when we got here, was get my library card.  So, here is what I read this summer:

And before August is over, I will probably be adding these two to my list as well.  (I will have to let you know if they are any good.)

Woo! You've been busy moving AND reading, Lisa. That is an impressive list, compared to the few books I've had a chance to read this summer. I'm glad to see you liked "The Help" so much. That is one that I've heard a lot about and wanted to read, but wasn't sure how I would like it. You're book taste is usually right on with mine, so I'm going to give it a go.

wow! I am impressed! I haven't read a thing, well I take that back, I've read alot of text book data as I've been actively engaged in taking a course in medical coding. Thank goodness school started, it means I have a great excuse to read with my kids! As far as good books go, I have become addicted to the children's books, Ladybug girl and Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy! I LOVE them. They rate right up there with the Olivia books! We are reading Bud Not Buddy right now and will look forward to seeing the play after we finish. As I said yay for school and yay for the finish of my course.
